Lema Imas is my pen name, choosing to let the stories, the characters and the emotions take centre stage.
 

A mother of three, living in Europe with roots stretching across cultures, I write the kind of romance I wanted to see more of — stories where Arab and Muslim characters can be modern, complicated, funny, ambitious, are deeply loved and can love intensely back. 
 

Some of the couples come from the same world and some are multi-backgrounds. At the core of story is a fascination: what happens when two lives that should never fit somehow do?
